The album combines extreme black metal, a dark atmosphere, and modern production, revisiting the band's classics and influences.

It also features covers of songs by Possessed and Acheron, as well as “Cry Little Sister,” the theme from the movie *The Lost Boys*.
The record also features Sarah Jezebel Deva on vocals for “One Rode to Asa Bay” and “Afraid to Shoot Strangers”.
