Hollowmind ‎– Inside An Extended Play CD

"Inside An Extended Play" is the third album by the progressive heavy metal trio Hollowmind. The group has perfected the balance between classic heavy metal and progressive rock that characterizes their sound: while the songs 'The Divide' and 'State of Unfairs' reveal a heavier, guitar-oriented facet, 'The Social Meteor' and 'Hibernia' are more complex and melodic. As is tradition for the band, all the lyrics on the EP are connected and deal with themes such as isolation, mental health, political chaos, and postponed plans.

On the B-side of the album, the band compiled alternative versions of the songs – with special guests such as the band Remove Silence and guitarist Felipe Machado (VIPER). Another highlight is the cover art, created by Swedish artist Niklas Sundin (Mitochondrial Sun, ex-Dark Tranquillity), and the production by Val Santos (Toyshop, ex-VIPER).
