Kossoff released a solo album called BACK STREET CRAWLER shortly after leaving Free in 1973. With the same name, he formed a band in 1975, releasing two studio albums, the last one in 1976, the year of his death at age 25.

This is a live album released posthumously (1986), recorded on March 3, 1976, documenting Paul Kossoff's last concert.
